Pumpkin Festival in the Food Market

A day before All Saints day Tsvetnoy's Food Market will host an amazing and 'not at all scary' charity festival, organized in cooperation with Podsolnukh charity foundation for children with dysimmunity.
The whole Food Market will be decorated with ripe pumpkins of all sizes - from the smallest real ones to huge toys.
Starting 2 p.m. we will host cooking classes, a pumpkin cutting contest, kids fashion show, Halloween make-up lessons, a school of DJs – among many other things.
Also, you will have an opportunity to do your professional photographic portrait dressed as a… pumpkin! And look for the pumpkin stickers all over the market, which you can then exchange for yummy prizes.
The climax of the festival will be a pumpkin pie contest with the star friends of Podsolnukh fund and of our farmers bazaar. In the evening there a charity auction of the pumpkin masterpieces will begin.

Dress code The scarier the better! The most extravagant costume wins a prize!

28th – 30th October the Garage Sale will take place at Tsvetnoy Central Market.
Well-known phenomenon (remember a romantic comedy called “Garage Sale” where main heroine sells her boyfriends clothes thinking he is cheating on her?) will be accommodated at -4 level of the parking lot of Tsvetnoy Central Market. Along with brands like A.P.C., Acne, Adidas Originals, Adidas Silver, All Saints, Bench, Boys by Band of Outsiders, by Malene Birger, C.P. Company, Cheap Monday, David Koma, Design Boom, DIM, Haider Ackermann, JNBY, Kitsuné, KIXBOX, Maje, Mango, Marios Schwab, Melissa, Piter Pilotto, Promod, Reiss, Sandro, See by Chloé, Sunday Up Market, Thakoon, To be Queen, Toga, TOPSHOP & TOPMAN, Trends Brands For Friends, Vivienne Westwood and etc., sold up to 90% discount, also there is a chance to get some exciting vintage at Lambada market.

Another treat will be brought to you by online-magazine Fur Fur, which will open a pop-up corner with the help of coolest Moscow menswear showrooms.

For those, who are good at ping-pong, a series of tournaments organized by Ping Pong Club Moscow will take place – Friday is ladies only, Saturday is dedicated to men and finally on Sunday – tournament for couples. The winners will be rewarded with special prizes from Tsvetnoy. If you accidentally feel exhausted after such an intensive programme, Eat It will provide delicious home-cooked food.

About the Festival
Sretenka Design Week – is a festival uniting various art, design and architecture initiatives. The territory of the festival spreads across Tsvetnoy Central Market, Tsvetnoy Boulevard and near by side-streets, Pir O.G.I. on Sretenka and café & shop DesignBoom.

At Tsvetnoy Central Market one will find installations by the most talented contemporary artists and designers, and an exhibition MIR: MADE IN RUSSIA

American artist and graphic designer, founder of the MWMGraphics, participants of 16 personal exhibitions in London, Paris, Barcelona, San-Paulo, he collaborated with such world famous brands as Adidas, Atomic Sky, Burton, Nike, Mazda, The Guardian, Wired and many others.

In 2005 graduated from Emily Carr Univarsity of Art and Design. Lived and worked in Germany, Iceland and Great Britain. Kristy participated in personal and group exhibitions in Canada, England, Germany, Mexico and Russia.

Young and talented artist, Rebecca creates her installations using tape of different colors and sizes. Graduated from School of Visual Arts in New York, participated in many group exhibitions and significant festivals of modern art such as Rojo Nova.

Artist, designer. Biggest part of his life works with graphics and abstract identity. Last 8 years he work in both art and design filed. The basic concept of his work is description of the environment by means of finding inner connections and work with symbols.

The trio lives in between two cities – Moscow and Saint-Petersburg. They work all over the world using mystical, mythic and abstract visuals, creating installations, objects, illustrations and public-art projects.

Artworks by The Tatarentsevi can be found in the biggest museums all over the world and in private collections. Their artworks have simple forms but deep meanings, and complex execution process behind, they are in tune with traditions of world art starting from Russian avant-guard up to the most modern post-minimalistic sculpture.

Dmitriy Aske – artist and graphic designer from Moscow, works in such fields as graffiti, graphic design, illustrations, sculpture, canvas and modern graphics. Among his clients are Nike, Sony Playstation, Montana Cans and many others. In 2010 Print Magazine named Dmitriy among the 20 World Most Talented and Promising Young Designers.
